Real life presents the Jack Hibbs podcast with intention and boldness to proclaim truth, equip the saints, and impact our culture. Hey everybody we're gonna be taking on an issue. I don't usually do this. I don't usually insert myself in another man's argument, but lately Tucker Carlson and Ted Cruz got into it. And so because the Bible was brought up, I have to get into it. Hang on let's go. You can get the outlines of this podcast by going to jackhibbs.com slash podcast. Today, if this podcast lifts you up and encourages you to live a more fulfilled life in Christ, then make sure you leave us one of those five star ratings. To us, that's like saying amen or yes, then that rating will encourage others to listen. Now open your hearts to what God's Word has to say to you. Here is Jack Hibbs. Hey everybody, welcome to the Jack Hibbs podcast and we're gonna dive right in because we have limited time. I apologize for that, but there's quite a storm of controversy and discussion and debate over the Tucker Carlson Ted Cruz interview that I did not see the entire interview that is in all fairness. I'm making that disclosure made known, but I saw enough that I want to comment on just that, okay? I'm not going to go beyond that. But I want to be really, really crystal clear on this and respond. I normally, you guys who know me, I do not dive into other people's dog fights. I don't do that. If it's my fight, I'm going to fight it and I'm going to fight it to win as long as I'm standing on biblical truth. But somebody else's fight, the Bible tells us do not grab a dog by its ears. And I love that in Proverbs because if you grab a dog by the ears and you pick it up, guess what's looking you right in the face? The dog's the dog's bite. And so you'd be a fool to grab a dog by the ears. And so I'm not intending to do that whatsoever. However, I must do this. A lot of people at a time like this are ignorantly, biblically ignorant of what God says regarding Israel, the Jew, the nation of Israel, and the kingdom of Israel, and the kingdom of Christ. And so in a podcast recently, Ted Cruz was interviewed by Tucker Carlson, and it was extremely disappointing. And I'll tell you the reasons why. Number one, Tucker Carlson preloaded, if you watch most of the interview, or some of it, I watched a chunk of it, Tucker Carlson preloaded the interview and asked Ted Cruz some questions that no one knows the answer to. And it's so obvious that Tucker Carlson looked it up in Wikipedia to get, for example, the population of Iran. Tucker Carlson asked Cruz, what's the population? You're a US Senator. What's the population of Iran? Who knows that? Who cares? But Ted Cruz goes, I don't know. I don't know. And Tucker Carlson said something like 92 million. It was so stupidly obvious that Tucker Carlson had looked it up. He didn't know. He looked it up. No one carries that around in their head. What's the population of Canada for crying out loud? What's the population of Lima, Peru? Who knows? Who cares? I don't even know the population of my own town I live in. But it was, it was definitely a set up. And the whole attitude from Carlson was one of demeaning Ted Cruz. And there's no doubt about it. You guys, Ted Cruz got caught with his Bible down. He didn't have the, he didn't have chapter verse citations. But he had the doctrine correct. Tucker Carlson did not have any doctrine correct at all. Biblical doctrine at all. At one point Tucker Carlson says he's a Christian. I don't know about that. I've been in events with Tucker Carlson where his cursing was so profound. It would have made a sailor blush. I don't know about that. Well, it Jesus settled that. But what I cannot let go unchallenged was what Tucker Carlson was insinuating because of the atmosphere in which we live in right now in a very anti-Semitic and also church age that is departed from orthodoxy. And so Ted Cruz is doing his best to defend the questioning that Tucker is throwing at him. And I feel bad for Ted Cruz. But not so much in the sense that hey Ted Cruz, I want you to be the great senator that you are. And you're okay with me if you cannot cite chapter verse. Okay, let pastors do that and let others do that. But notice, if you do watch it in its totality, notice how many jabs Tucker Carlson makes and very disrespectfully marks Ted Cruz, which is anything but Christian. But it speaks of a deeper problem. And the deeper problem is that in the woke church of America today, there is the inability in the discipline to have studied what is called eschatology. Now Ted Cruz probably doesn't know what that word means. Tucker Carlson doesn't know what that word means. But eschatology is the biblical discipline of the biblical studies of prophetic events eschatology. It's the study of future events. And there's one nation in the Bible that is the key. We'll call it the epicenter right now of biblical prophecy. And it's not the United States. It's not America. It's not China. It's not Iran. It's Israel. So Ted and Tucker just do a Bible search of how many times the word Israel appears in the Bible. Okay, and you'll find out. But when we have an atmosphere right now where people are saying, I don't acknowledge the current government of Israel. Well, that's unfortunate for you because God does. It's true. God, the Bible says, creates nations and brings down nations. He establishes kings and he brings kings down. So let me ask you guys this question. Did God put Barack Obama into office in the United States of America at that time? The answer isn't overwhelming, yes. What about Ronald Reagan? Yes. What about Jimmy Carter? Yes. What about Bill Clinton? Yes. What about Donald Trump? Yes. What about Joe Biden? Yes. The Bible says God sets up rulers and he takes rulers out. No matter. Listen, God is not subject to the parliamentary governments or the constitutional governments or democratic government. God is not, he's not swayed by those things. He's God. He's eternal. He's all powerful. And I agree with Ben Franklin. Ben Franklin said, God governs in the affairs of men. And so I need to address to defend the Bible. I'm not defending Ted Cruz. And I'm certainly not defending Tucker Carlson, except that he has the right as an American to state whatever his opinion is. I'll die for that. I'll die for Tucker Carlson's right to be wrong regarding his view of Israel. Okay. So let's just dive into this and let's take a listen. Growing up in Sunday school, I was taught from the Bible. Those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse Israel will be cursed. And from my perspective, I want to be on the blessing side of the thing of those who bless the government of Israel. Those who so Ted Cruz makes a comment. He makes a paraphrase delivery of a statement from the Bible. God will bless those who bless Israel. Tucker Carlson puts a scowl on his face as though he's hearing something maybe he is for the first time. I don't know what kind of Christian he is. But he says, what? What? The government of Israel? God wants the government of Israel blessed. God said Israel. So the question is this, by the way, for the record, Ted Cruz is paraphrasing Genesis chapter 12. Now the Lord had said to Abram, get out of your country and from your family and from your father's house to the land that I will show you. And I will make you a great nation. So Tucker, a nation is a government. A government is a nation. That's why the Bible says God establishes nations, governments, kings, rulers, and leaders. So that's, uh, there shouldn't be a surprise to you. I will bless you and make your name great and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and I will curse those who curse you. And in you, this is Abraham. All the families, the word is also translated nations, but it says families of the earth shall be blessed. So I'm going to give you another passage of scripture for orthodoxy and accuracy. Say Jeremiah 31, verse 31, behold, the days are coming says the Lord when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel. Israel is a nation and a nation is made up of people and Israel and nations have governments, uh, Tucker and of the house of Judah. Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand, deleted them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant, that's the Old Testament, which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the Lord, but this is the covenant that I will make with them, uh, in the house of Israel after those days says the Lord, I will put my law into their minds. That's the Jew. And I will write it on their hearts. That's the Jew. And I will be their God and they shall be my people that is the chosen people of God. That's what God says regarding who Israel, the government, the nation is. Uh, does God not know that Israel is a recognized nation at the UN? Uh, Tucker, doesn't, doesn't God know that? I think he knows that. And so the question comes down to this, no one's going to understand the existence of Israel because the existence of Israel is miraculous. And I'm going to prove it to you right now. First of all, Israel, the people are called Jews by and large. I say by and large because you can be an Israeli and be an atheist. But the word Jew comes from the word Judah or Jew. And it means one who praises God. So technically a Jew who's one who praises God, but for arguments sake, we're going to talk about those who live within the government of Israel and those who we would just say for arguments sake for now, simplicity. We don't have much time. Israelis, okay? They live in a government. Ted Cruz and Tucker Carlson, they live in a government which is a nation. And to prove my point, the government, the nation of Israel has a vote at the UN. That makes them legitimate. No matter what Palestinians or Muslims or woke Christians have to say about that. They are arguing with the God of the Bible because God says, I will bless those who bless you Abraham and the descendants from you. And I will make of you Abraham a great nation. That is both a faith but also a covenant promise to the nation of Israel, the government, the people, the place, the land, the city called Jerusalem. It's very vast, it's very broad, it's very exhaustive. Of course it is. The entire Bible is written about what God intends to do regarding his covenantal people. And the covenantal people of God's chosen is not only the believers of the Jewish people, of course, but the land that was promised to Abraham. God gives in the Old Testament the exact distance, range, all the weapon to modern day Syria today and Lebanon all the way over to the Euphrates River, bordering Iraq and Iran all the way down, skirting Saudi Arabia and shooting across over to the Nile River part of Egypt is actually the Promised Land of Israel and then all the way up the Mediterranean coast, it's massive. That's the Promised Land when you talk about the Promised Land and the only one that came close to actually having all that land was the King Solomon of the Bible. But the Bible says in Isaiah and Ezekiel and Zechariah that when Christ returns he will establish the promised borders that were given to Abraham. So was there a nation Tucker in antiquity by the name of Israel? Let's let's find out. We'll answer this in a moment. Those who bless the government of Israel. Those who bless Israel is what it says. It doesn't say the government of it says the nation of Israel. So that's in the Bible. As a Christian, I believe that. Where is that? I can find it to you. I don't have the the scripture off the tip of my you pull out the phone and use it. It's in Genesis. So you're quoting a Bible phrase. You don't have context for it. You don't know where the Bible it is, but that's like mythology. I'm confused. No, Tucker, you're not confused. You you're actually picking an argument with a sitting state senator. National not as Texas state senator. He is a senator representing Texas in Washington DC. A member of the House. Here's the thing. You said Tucker it's in Genesis. You should have known then the context. You questioned Ted Cruz in the context and you cite Genesis. It's Genesis chapter 12 by the way. If you would have read that, you would have known that it is all about the promise giving to Abraham. And then you would have looked at what has been promised to Abraham. You would have known. Ted Cruz is 100% right. And Tucker, you're correct. It is in Genesis. Absolutely right. But you said you're confused. How could you possibly be confused? What's the confusion? Now if I were Ted Cruz, I would have asked, what are you confused about? So I just want to ask you this question again and we'll get to it. Was there ever a nation in antiquity by the name of Israel? Go as far back as you can. Was there a nation called Israel? How far back can you go? You'd think that through for a second. What does that even mean? Tucker, I'm a Christian. I want to know what you're talking about. Where does my support for Israel come from? Number one, because biblically we're commanded to support Israel. But number two, that's 100% true. But Tucker's got to comment. Hold on, hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. You're a senator and now you're throwing at theology and I am a Christian. I am allowed to weigh in on this. We are commanded as Christians support the government of Israel. We are. Yes, we are. It's Romans chapter 9, chapter 10, and chapter 11. Tucker and Senator Cruz read it. Romans chapter 9, 10, and 11. We are commanded to not only support and be a witness to the Jewish people, but we are also to provoke them to jealousy. That is, we as Gentiles should be so much a biblical witness to them that the love for the Jewish people and the blessing upon the promise of Abraham to bless Israel should be something that is native to the Christian life. And yes, we are to bless. Now in all fairness, Tucker, excuse me, please understand this. We are not saying that all of the United States government decisions are correct. That would be ignorant. We're not saying that Japan makes all the right decisions because Israel is a nation and they have a government, we do not agree with all of their decisions either, but we will bless them because the Bible says to do that, okay? So let's learn. We are commanded to support Israel and we're told that mean is real. We're told those who bless Israel will be blessed, but what? Hold on, define. What does that mean, Israel? He says define that. What does that mean? Israel defined that. Well, number one, Tucker, we know that it starts in Genesis chapter 12. That's where the definition begins with the man Abraham. But did you know that that promise given to Abraham was about 2,090 to about 2,02100 BC in your Bible? And that's when the promise was made to Abraham that basically in his loins, I'll put it that way in his DNA, the nation of Israel would come forth. The promise was given to Abraham. So that's 2,100 years before Christ that's 2,100 BC. And then we move forward to a man by the name of Jacob. The Bible says that God is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And Jacob, Tucker, that's about 2006 BC when Jacob comes along. And they were known from that moment on, watch this. Jacob's name was changed. Tucker, Ted Cruz, do you know the name of Jacob? His real name. Anybody know his real name? You guys should know this. Of course you know this. It didn't come up. But of course you know this. You're talking theology. Listen, first of all, anyone can talk theology. I wish everybody talked theology. If you're a senator or not, or if you're a radio host or not. Okay, the name Israel was given to the man by the name of Jacob. The moment Jacob prevailed in his wrestling match with the angel of the Lord, the angel of the Lord turned to him and said, your name is no longer Jacob. For you have wrestled with God and you have prevailed from here on out, your name is called Israel. So for the record, Israel, the origin of Israel is a promise given by a word, by a name, defining this new nation born out of a promise given by God to Jacob by a new name Israel. 2006 BC. All right, let's keep going. Define Israel. This is important. Are you kidding? This is a majority Christian country. Define Israel. Could you not know what Israel is? That would be the country to ask like 49 questions about. So that's what Genesis, that's what God is talking about. Yes, Israel. Yes. And as soon as that, the current borders, the current leaders. No, it's not the current. It includes the current. But as I said earlier, it's the broad expanse. Let me put it you this way. The Muslim world and the anti-Semites believe Israel is too big. Even Barack Obama said we want Israel to go back to its pre-1967 borders. Why? Because they need to go back. No, and at the time I said on media, no, no, no, Barack, you got it wrong. If you want to go back, you don't get to pick 1967, Barack Hussein Obama, anti-Semitic people, Muslims, you don't get to pick that. Let's go way back. Let's go back in time because you know, the further back you go in time, the closer you get to the truth. And so let's go way back. Let's go back to 2100 BC because that expanse Tucker and Senator is massive and it's all laid out in the Bible to the T. Leadership, he's talking with the political entity called Israel. He's talking about the nation of Israel. He had nations exist and he's discussing a nation. A nation was the people of Israel. He's the nation. God is referring to in Genesis. He's that the same as the country run by Benjamin Netanyahu right now. Yes, it is. Yes, it is. Think about this very anti-Semitic position that you're putting forth. You are actually suggesting Tucker that Israel's current government and the leadership of Netanyahu is illegitimate, which means you have fallen right into the ploy of the replacement theology goons who believe that there's no place for Israel or this current government because they are what? They're still Jewish or they have not accepted Jesus as Messiah yet. Do either one of you guys know that the Bible says that when God brings Israel back from all the four corners of the nations of the earth in the last days that he will bring them back into their own land in a state of unbelief. They will not even believe in him. He will supernaturally bring them back into the land of Israel in the last days. Read the book of Ezekiel starting in chapter 36, for example, start there and read Isaiah chapter 43, start there. The answer to your question, Tucker, is yes, it is. Yes, it is. The government, Israel and Netanyahu is just as legitimate as Trump and America. Even more so, if you think about it, because America doesn't last forever, according to the Bible, America and all other nations will come to an end. Okay, so let's do a really quick biblical and slash history lesson very, very fast and I hope this is a benefit to both Senator Cruz and for Carlson. Are you aware of this, everybody? Isaiah 66, that's a prophetic book of the Bible. In fact, Isaiah, the Old Testament prophet is known as the Evangelical prophet because there's more quotations from the book of Isaiah in the New Testament than any other Old Testament prophet. Okay, watch this. Isaiah 66, verse 8, who has heard such a thing? Question mark. Who has seen such a thing? Question mark. Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Shall the earth be made to give birth to something? We don't know what yet. In one day, shall a nation be brought forth in a day? Nations aren't born in a day. Takes struggle. It takes no eggs impossible. For as soon as Zion was in labor, she gave birth to her children. God says in Isaiah 66, verse 8, that a nation, not a nation, but for argument say, there's going to be some nation that is going to be born in a day. Has that ever happened in the history of man? May 14th, 1948. Israel was born in a day by Harry S. Truman, President of the United States, arguing for the defense of the creation. Listen, listen for it. Wait for it for the state of Israel and the government of Israel. And in one day, Israel became a nation a second time. Israel is the only nation in the history of man that has become a nation a second time. Amos 9, verse 14, I will bring back the captives of my people, Israel. They shall build the wastelands in the cities and inhabit them once again. They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them. They also shall make gardens and eat fruit from them. I will plant them in their own land and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land that I've given them. By the way, Israel is not going anywhere, folks. Much to some of your chagrin. Thus says the Lord God, Zachariah 12, verse 2, Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling to all nations around about them. And they shall be in a siege, both against Judah and Jerusalem. Those are locations in the country, the government, the nation of Israel. And in that day, I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people. That's another word for nations. That all who burden themselves with it shall be cut into pieces, though all the people or the nations of the earth be gathered against it. That is it being Israel. Joel 3, verse 1, for behold, in those days and at that time, when I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehosephad and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of my people, my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations of the world. They have also divided up my land. And they have cast lots for my people, Israel. Isaiah 27, verse 6, those who come, he shall cause to take root in Jacob. You guys are experts now. You know what Jacob means, right? Israel shall blossom and bud and fill the face of the world with fruit. Isaiah 43, verse 3, for I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior, I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Shiba for your place, in your place, since you were precious in my sight, you have been honored and I have loved you, therefore I will give men for you and people for your life, fear not, for I am with you. I will bring your descendants from the east, I will gather them from the west, I will say to the north, give them up, and I will say to the south, don't hold them back, bring my sons from afar, my daughters from the ends of the earth. This is God talking about Israel. It's been, New York that's called by the way, Isaiah 43, is the definition of what is known as Zionism, Zionist. What's a Zionist? God is a Zionist. God says that he's going to establish his throne in Zion, and anybody who believes that is a Zionist. Guilty, God is going to establish his throne, and that throne will be Jesus Christ. It's not Netanyahu, it's not Goldamayir, it's not Minachem Began, it's Jesus Christ, he's coming. And is it interesting? You guys, Jesus Christ is returning to Israel, the Bible says, and he will come to Jerusalem, and he will sit upon the throne of David, which is in Mount Zion. But that's if you believe the Bible, which I do. I don't believe, I don't forget about people. They'll lie to you, Bible will never lie to you. Isaiah 59 verse 21. As for me, says Yahweh, this is my covenant with them, Israel, my spirit, who is upon you, and my words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants, descendants, says Yahweh, the Lord, from this time forward, even forever. Psalm 130 verse 7, hope I'm not born you guys, Psalm 130 verse 7, oh Israel, hope in the Lord, for with the Lord there is mercy, and with him is abundant redemption, and he shall redeem Israel from all their iniquities. Romans 11 verse 11, I say then, have the Jews stumbled that they should fall certainly not, but through their fall to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles. Now if their fall is the riches for the world and their failure, the riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fulfillment? Yeah, their fulfillment? For I speak to you Gentiles in as much as I'm an apostle to the Gentiles, this is Paul, the Jews speaking. I magnify my ministry, if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are of my flesh and save some of them, for if they being cast away as reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? Listen, blessing the nation of Israel is commanded and that means blessing. Listen, the people and that means blessing the people in their wars. Did you know that in antiquity, in the Old Testament scriptures, there are nations that withheld support from Israel and God judged those nations for not helping them and their time of need. The Bible says Tucker and the Bible says Senator Cruz, come for E come for E my people Israel. Not oppose them. Israel is, listen, Israel is fighting the front line of terrorism and they seek to defeat the Islamic anti-Semitic doctrines that seek their annihilation and the annihilation of the great Satan America as they put it. But listen, I said earlier that God is a Zionist. I'm going to prove it to you. Zachariah chapter 9 verse 9, fulfilled by the way on what it's called Palm Sunday, 2000 years ago. Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion. Shout, O daughters of Jerusalem. Behold, you're king. Ooh, kings have governments. Governments are connected to countries. Netanyahu is not a king. He's a prime minister. Trump is not a king. He's a president of the nation. They make up a government is Netanyahu a prime minister. If he is, that's over a politic. That's over a nation. That's over a country. That's over a people. For your king is coming to you. He is just and having salvation. Humble riding on a donkey, the cult, the full of a donkey. Of course, it's referring to Jesus Christ and it's called Palm Sunday. But that was an Old Testament prophecy from Zachariah 9.9. Listen to this looking into the future, you guys. Luke chapter 19 verse 37. Then as Jesus drew near to the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen. And they said, blessed is the king of Israel who comes in the name of the Lord. Peace on earth and glory in the highest. Now, some of the Pharisees called to Jesus from the crowd and said, teacher, rebuke your disciples. But Jesus answered and said to them, I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out. Now, as Jesus drew near to the descent, saying to Israel, if you had only known even you, especially this your day, the things that await for your peace. But now they are hidden from your eyes for the days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you and surround you and close you in on every side. They will level you to the ground and your children within you. And they will not leave in you, not one stone left upon another all because you did not recognize the day of your visitation. Christ speaking of Himself coming to the nation of Israel, notice that. And so I want to ask you guys this question, mostly maybe Tucker. What nation is Jesus Christ returning to in the Bible? Do you know what the Bible says about that? The Bible says He's returning to a very specific nation. Well, the answer is in Isaiah 9 verse 6, one of the answers, one of the many, many hundreds and hundreds of answers. But here's one. That's a very famous Christmas verse. For unto us a child is born and unto us a son is given. And the government shall be upon his shoulder and his name shall be called wonderful counselor. Mighty God, everlasting Father, Prince of peace and of the increase of his government, there shall be no end. And upon the throne of David and over his kingdom to order it and to establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever, for the zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. That is a promise of the coming return of the Messiah Jesus Christ to Israel to the city of Jerusalem and to the Jewish people. By the way, the Bible says Jesus Christ will sit on that throne of His for a thousand years. What about the city? The city that Jesus Christ has promised to establish His throne. Jerusalem specifically Zion. What about this? Are you guys aware, Tucker? Are you aware that, as I mentioned earlier, that Israel is the epicenter of Bible prophecy regarding the future? Did you know that? Since May 14, 1948, biblical scholars, biblical eschatologists have recognized that the rebirth of the nation of Israel in one day fulfilled Isaiah chapter 66. The doors began to swing open on this. And from 1880 to right now Jews have been who have been born in other countries, have made their way to make Aliah is its name. They've moved back to Israel. Did you know that's Bible prophecy? That's happening. That's how you got a nation today in Israel. That's how you have a government. And that's how... Listen, that's how you have the situation we're in right now where the Muslim world wants Israel destroyed. Why? Because their theology doesn't match biblical theology. And a lot of church people agree more with Islamic theology regarding Israel than they do biblical teaching in history and prophecy regarding Israel. If there is no Israel, there is no resurrection from the dead. If there's no Israel, there is no salvation or promise for the church, for the Christian. If God doesn't keep his promises to the Jews, God has no obligation to keep his promises to the church. God will fulfill his word. He said, by the way, as the sun comes up and the sun goes down and as seasons come and go, so my promises to Israel are so secure that if I break, if I break my covenant, then the sun will not rise and the sun will not set. That whole system will go into disarray. But God says, don't worry, I'll keep my promises just as the sun rises and as the sun sets. That's significant. I'm need to start to wrap this up. I'm going to go rapid fire right now. Rapid fire. We've got the city. We've got the nation. We've got the epicenter. It's all Israel. It's all about the Jew. It's all about the land. You've got a nation called the United States that is seeking to be the support for Israel as the United States has always been. Thank God for President Truman. Thank God for President Trump. Mark my words. I hope I'm wrong. I hope this never comes to pass, but I'm afraid it will. When this nation changes leadership someday in the near future, it's going to go anti-Israel. And when it does, you will see the end of the United States. The United States will come to an end, or it will be assimilated among the weak nations of the world. But it will lose its power if it turns its back. Well, when it turns its back on Israel. And so I'm going to leave everybody with this. Knowingly or unknowingly, Tucker Carlson, you have put an attitude forward. I'm not putting words in your mouth, but you've put an attitude forward by bringing into question the viability of the existence of the nation of Israel and of its government. And so I want to read you a few things and ask you a few things. Because what you're saying is textbook university campus stuff that comes from people will just call, we'll just call them by what they call themselves, though they do not know themselves. And that is the Palestinians. So Tucker, I want to ask you, what is a Palestinian? Are there any Palestinian coins in antiquity? Go back. Remember, we can go back to 2100 BC, regarding Israel. Can we go back 2100 years BC regarding Palestine? Is there anything in any museums of Palestine, artifacts, Palestine? Is there up until recently, was there ever a Palestinian symbol or flag or governments? A Palestinian, interestingly enough, listen, Palestinian is a Roman term. When the emperor Hadrian of Rome of the Roman Empire 135 AD was fed up with the antics of the Jewish people, he said, I need to know, I need to know what can I do to insult these people? What can I do? And they said, look, his counselor's advised him, you can look it up. Emperor Hadrian with an H Hadrian. How can I insult these people to the maximum? How do I be little them? How do I seek to erase their identity? Because these Jews driving nuts, they said, here's the answer. Rename their land. They're freaks about their land. These Jews use. Name their land after one of the seven hills here in Rome. Palestine, Palestinian, Palestine. It's going to offend them. It's pagan. Do that. And by the way, it's more in line with paganism and the Gentiles. So rename it Palestine 135 AD. Oh, and rename the city. They're big on Jerusalem. Erase that, call it Aile Kapitalina. That will insult them. Did you know that in antiquity, there was no such thing as a Palestine until 135 AD when it was created by an Italian in Rome, emperor of Rome, Hadrian. Listen, after Herod, this is a Matthew chapter 2 verse 19, after Herod died, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt and said, get up and take the child. This is Jesus and his mother, that's Mary, and go to the land of Israel, not the land of Palestine. The Bible says Israel, not Palestine, folks. How can you be, listen, how can you, how can you be a Palestinian when there's no Palestine in antiquity? There's never been a nation of Palestine. Think of this. There's been a land that's been renamed to Palestine, but that was done by a Roman emperor. Shouldn't there be evidence? I can go back 3,000 years ago. I can go back 4,000 years ago and find evidence in the British Museum in London of Israel being a nation. So we need to be careful. I'm running out of time. I got to do this quickly. The renaming of Palestine was re-enforced when in 1948, when the British came in, they re-resurrected, that is re-established the name Palestine, but did you know the Jews never stopped calling, the Jew never stopped calling Israel, Israel, they never stopped. It's always been Israel and it's always been Jerusalem to the Jew for thousands and thousands of years. See, listen, those who call themselves Palestinians are about 90% Jordanian, who lived in the land of Israel. But Islam doesn't allow them to recognize Israel. As long as, listen, as long as Israel exists, Islam is not true. That's why Islam is devoted to the destruction of Jews and Israel. The Jew and Israel make the Quran wrong, among many other things. Think about that. And so I got to wrap this up and I apologize for all of this, but I'm going to leave you with this quote by, and we'll put it up on the screen. His name is Zoeir Mosin. He says, and I quote, the existence of separate Palestinian identity exists only for tactical reasons. The establishment of a Palestinian state is a new tool to continue the fight against Israel and for our Arab unity. Isn't that interesting? So look, I know this was a 40-minute flyover and I hit stuff, but I just, when I saw those clips with Carlson and Cruz, I couldn't let that slide. Again, I don't normally get in other people's business, but when somebody attacks truth, they've got to be exposed. And Tucker Carlson, you were way out of your league on this one, you were out of the boat and you were not walking on the water, you were sinking. And it was obvious by how you treated Ted Cruz. You mocked him in the full, in much, I didn't see the whole thing, but I saw much more of what, than what I just played a moment ago. You made fun of him when you said, how come you don't know the population of Iran? You said, you're a senator, you should know these things. You don't know this. That was just so juvenile was pathetic. Now, I've not seen anything of Tucker Carlson ever since I was in an event in Arizona, in I think it was Phoenix, when he spoke and it was so offensive and so foul language that I stopped watching him. I stopped listening to him and I haven't heard him since until this clip. And I got to tell you, the demeanor, the posture, the look, something's wrong. Do you know what it means to be born again? Jesus said, you're not going to go to heaven unless you're born again. Do you know what that means? It's in John chapter three, by the way. Do you know what it means to come to the end of yourself and come to the reception of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior? Not religion, not sacraments, not baptism and water, not registration on a membership, but a personal faith encounter with the living God. Because listen, when the Holy Spirit lives inside of believer, the Holy Spirit will not be an enemy of the very country that he's reestablishing in the earth because we are in the last days. And everything that's taking place, God didn't ask you to agree with it. God asked you to believe it and to be obedient to the Word of God. So I'm going to continue to pray for you guys, but I just had to get involved on this. I'm sorry, but I'm not sorry. So read the Bible from cover to cover. It'll be quite illuminating.
