God, To Whom Vengeance Belongs

We're going to be doing something a little bit different right now only for this reason. At least then I were going through the Bible this morning before heading off to various directions that we head off to in our day. And we came to a Psalm that really impacted me and I thought that's it. I got to talk about this on our next podcast, which just happened to be today. And so I want to read this. If you're anywhere near a Bible, please open this up. If not, if you're driving or whatever, I get it. Just listen up. It's Psalm 94. The 94th Psalm. And I'm just going to read it, make comment on it because I think it's really relevant to the world that you and I are living in right now and relevant to this actual very day. The Psalm reads this way, Psalm 94 verse one, O Lord, the God of vengeance, the God of vengeance, let your glorious justice shine. A rise, oh, judge of the earth, give the proud what they deserve. I'm going to pause right there for a moment. Listen, vengeance right now, lot of hate, lot of anger, lot of word throwing at one another, a lot of stuff coming to the surface. The Palestinian is Israeli deal. Um, the university campuses going up against law enforcement, uh, one judge overturning another judge. Um, I say this with a broken heart. All of those things are patent manifested realities of a lawless age. It is official. Ladies and gentlemen, it's official. America is lawless. And so when the Bible says that it's the Lord who exercises vengeance, notice how much of America may be England, France right now. It's the populace that's exercising vengeance. In other words, the populace is taking the place of God and let your justice shine forth. Man is not interested in the justice of God. Man is only interested in his own definition of justice. And notice those that are screaming justice have fabricated their own definition of justice right now. Justice is an attribute of God's rule. It's never been in question for thousands of years. In fact, the Bible goes so far to say that he has written his laws upon the heart of man. That's all man. Mr and Mrs. Mankind, God has etched upon your moral compass, his justice. But people are throwing off God's justice right now. And they're screaming, we want justice and social justice and stuff. Didn't you know what they're talking about? And if you stop and ask them, what are you talking about? They can't even define it. It's really pathetic. They start talking about we want to have equality in this and that. Oh, I see. It has nothing to do with justice. What you're talking about is having a socialistic society, anything but a constitutional republic or a biblical form of government. I'm stalling right now because I'm going through a book. I forget which one it is. I got several books going on at the same time. So I get them mixed up. Well, about 1766, 1766, there were thinkers within the colonies talking about government and how things should be. And they were talking about the Greeks and they're talking about the Romans and they're talking about the various governments that were previously. And one guy stepped up and said, I think we should embrace the Hebrew form of government. And then he went on to define what that was that our government should be founded upon the laws that God has given in his word. And then that was that was 1766. It wasn't until 10 years later, technically, even more than that, because you're talking about the Declaration of Independence, but then you're talking about the Constitution and the Bill of Rights following later took a long time. But they they went and leaned on God's word, the Hebrew laws, the Hebrew government, government, given by God. Verse three, how long, O Lord, how long will the wicked be allowed to gloat? Wow. That sounds like now. How long will they speak with arrogance? I'm thinking right now about the general atmosphere of our political scenery in America. Think about our political leaders. You may not like the, you know, a lot of Christians have an allergic reaction to the word politics, which I find profoundly hypocritical because the moment someone's nerve is touched in the political agenda realm theater of politics, oh, they speak up immediately right away. I know I'm a Christian. I don't get involved in politics. And then somebody steps on something and you get all fired up because you think that's right or wrong. And it's in the political sphere. And now all of a sudden you have an opinion. Of course you do. You always have an opinion on politics. We should because the word of God trumps everything, including politics. That means the word of God speaks into politics. So imagine this. I'm including independent, Republican and Democrats on this one. How long will they speak with arrogance? That's that's Lord. I'm praying. God, look at our capital. Look at the capitals of these states or the capital of our nation. How long will they speak with arrogance? God. In other words, Lord, listen to this idiocy that's being propagated. How long will these evil people boast? Think of that. They crush your people. Lord, hurting those who claim as your own. What a word that is. That's increasing by the way. The powers that be the politics that is is letting crazy people take to the streets. At the same time, shutting down the Christian's ability to witness, share the gospel. Mention Jesus in a public school class. Wow. Do you see this starting to form? Do you see why I wanted to read this Psalm today? It gets even more prophetic for us. Or I think relevant. Psalm 94 verse 6, they kill widows and foreigners and they murder orphans. That sounds like October 7th in a way, doesn't it? But it also sounds like bad government. The Lord isn't looking, they say. And besides the God of Israel, he doesn't care. Verse 8, think again, you fools. When will you finally catch on? Is he deaf? The one who made your ears? Is he blind? The one who formed your eyes? He punishes the nations. Who does? God does. Who does God punish? The nations. Won't he also punish you? He knows everything. Doesn't he also know that he doesn't he also know what you are doing? Don't you think that God knows what America is doing right now? Don't you think God knows what our governmental leaders are doing? Don't you think our God knows that our elected officials have turned to back on Israel? Don't you know? Doesn't he? Doesn't God know his own word when God says, I'm going to bless, protect, provide, prosper. The nation that blesses my people. And I'm going to destroy the nations that destroy my people. God said it. Don't you think God knows it? You see where this is going? To me, this is this is this is prophetically profound. This is actually an indictment. It's almost like a a charges beam being brought against the United States. God knows the Lord knows the people's thoughts. He knows that they are worthless. That is not the people aren't worthless. The thoughts are worthless. Sounds like Congress. Sounds like the Senate. Sounds like our government. Sounds like the president. Joyful are those who you discipline, Lord, those who you teach with your instructions. Wouldn't it be beautiful if God did Psalm 94 verse 12? Wouldn't it be amazing of God intervened in your country and in my country and God began to instruct and to discipline his people so that they might be inclined to obey him? Verse 13, you give them relief from troubled times until a pit is dug to capture the wicked. I pray that right now. I pray that dear God may your people may we turn back to you and may you dig a pit for those who are plotting wickedness. So I guess you would say, well, it all depends on what you think wickedness wickedness is. It's irrelevant what I think. I don't even care about what I think. God defines wickedness as anything or anyone who's going against his will. If you're committing wickedness, it's because you're going against the will of God. And God says that there's a pit being dug for them. That's hopeful. I look around and I'm watching what's taking place in the streets and the violence and the lawlessness and the Bible says they're digging themselves a pit. All right. That helps me because I let it helps me to just accept the fact that this Psalm started out by saying that I'm God and I'll do my vengeance. And oh, by the way, the wicked, what they're doing is digging themselves a pit. Hey, that cost me to take a deep breath and to kind of pull back and say, you go, God, you take care of it. That's the attitude we should have anyway. Verse 14, the Lord will not reject his people. He will not abandon his special possession. That's true for Israel. It's true for us if you believe in him. Judgment will again be founded upon justice and those with virtuous hearts will pursue it. Who will protect me from the wicked? Who will stand up for me against evil doers? Unless the Lord had helped me, I would soon have settled into the silence of the grave. But I cried out to the Lord. I cried out, I am slipping. But your unfailing level, Lord, supported me. When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer. Can unjust leaders claim that God is on their side? Man, that's one thing you'll never hear Gavin Newsom say in California. I'm sure you'll never hear Joe Biden say in Washington, DC. We're going to abort these babies even at the point of birth. We'll kill them after they're born. God's on our side. I think they can't even do that. Or some of the things that's happened in your state. Yes, your state. Do you live in a blue state, red state? Well, listen, what's happening right now is coming to all the states under the Biden administration. And you're going to hear, you're going to be hearing about it. But it is a law that is coming to your state this year that is going to take your child, okay, your child under the age of 18. If you have a child in the age of 18, their health plan, their dental plan, their reproductive plan, their social, mental, stability plan, they are charting a course that the government will be the health provider, not you, not your business, not your insurance company. But the child we will be brought under the jurisdiction of the government. You just feed them. You feed them. You pay for it. But they're going to they're seeking to take control even over the vaccine records of your kids. That's in that's in the in the proposal. It's coming. Just stay tuned. We'll give you more information when it comes out more fully. You see, well, let's let's campaign against it. There's nothing you can do about it. This is coming from who knows where, but it's infiltrating all the states. And you might say, we're in Florida. We'll be exempt. You will not be exempt. It's going to be a federal thing. Well, we're in Arizona. We're in Idaho. We're going to be exempt. It's going to be a federal thing. We're in Tennessee. It's going to be exempt. It's a federal thing. Dangerous coming, ladies and gentlemen, the wicked have made a plan. I pray, according to scripture, that they fall into their own pit that they've dug, that they dig it and mother digging it, they fall into it. And all the dirt falls in on them. How cool is that? You say, Jack, you can't talk like that. You're a pastor. I can't talk like that as a pastor. We have been lulled to sleep for some decades right now in this woke Western world Christianity, where it is a manby-pambi God will never be angry about anything kind of Christianity. Man, you need to read the book at Revelation. He's coming back to clean some clocks. It's going to be intense. And besides, go read this. Second Corinthians 10, 6. Go read it. In fact, you can respond back on this podcast. Respond back. Let us know. Give me your commentary. I open up the mic so to speak to you. Second Corinthians 10, verse six. Tell me what it means. Not second chronicles. Second Corinthians chapter 10, verse six. Read it. Tell me what it means. You'll be shocked to find out that it's perfectly in line with Psalm 94. Can unjust leaders claim that God is on their side? Leaders whose decrease permit and allow for injustice? Wow. That's totally in the news right now today. They gang up against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death. Wow. Let me read that again. That's verse 21. They gang up against the righteous. Those who do right, they gang up against them. This is breaking news, man. This is happening right now. They gang up against the righteous. We have some good news coming. It's hit the fan publicly. I think last night or early this morning in Los Angeles County, there's going to be some profound news coming out of Los Angeles County in the district attorney's office. Thank God. The DA's office has been digging a pit. And as of this morning, those who have conspired to do evil against those who do righteous within their own ranks, they're falling into their own pit. It's going to be national news. It's coming. It's not a secret. We just heard it breaking early this morning. You'll hear about it. Keep your eye on LA County DA's office. That's good news. Bad news for them. Good news for us. And they gang up. So verse 22, but the Lord is my fortress. My God is the mighty rock where I hide. God will turn the sins of evil people back upon them. He will destroy them in their sins. The Lord our God will destroy them. That is the Bible, my friends. People don't even want to think about you. Wait a minute. You're reading out of the Old Testament. Yes. Jesus said in Matthew chapter 5 that the Old Testament will be fulfilled every word, every letter. In fact, the ancient rabbis even say that when the Messiah comes, he will not only interpret all the scriptures, but he will interpret the spaces in between the words. I love that kind of thinking. We're learning an amazing time and we're living in a very deceptive time, very deceiving. There's a lot of good people that are being deceived by whoever makes the most noise right now. Be aware of that, everybody. People sound like listen, don't be swooned over by the articulation of people who seem to know what they're talking about. Be very, very careful. Judge everything against the Bible. Don't become a cult member. You say, well, I'm a Christian. How dare you say that? No, a cult member by that. I mean this. Paul warned the believers in first Corinthians. He warned the church at Corinth that you guys have become personality cult followers, personality cult followers. He said, you guys are so messed up. There's a group of you say, we're of Peter, we're of Paul, we're of Christ. They're all factioned up and broken up. They all called themselves Christians, but they were eating each other alive with their post and with their commentary and with their statements because they had taken sides in ignorance. There's a lot of people right now at the time of this period of podcast where people are taking sides very, very passionately because they're listening to the big mouth's mouth without education, without thinking could there possibly be more to what's happening behind the scenes that I'm not aware of that I don't have access to. We live in a dangerous time where good people could be deceived and deceived and others and not even intentionally doing that. So something happens and they quickly got a, I got to post something on this. I got to make a comment about this and they make a comment about the headline and they and the headline are in total agreement. The only problem is that the headline doesn't have all the facts, but Fox News said it, but CNN said it, but Axios said it, but Politico said it, right, but Breitbart said it, or Daily Wire said it, or whoever, I don't know, whatever's out there, Tucker said it. It doesn't mean it's true. Well, it doesn't mean it's true. Be careful. The enemy is now much more subtle. Weaving his serpentine path among the brethren and getting them to make comments and react without all the knowledge. And so be very wise because the wicked are digging a pit. God will destroy them. It's all up to him in his time. It's not for us. We're not to destroy them. We're to pray for them. We're to love them. We're to pray for their souls. But in the end, everybody's going to stand before God. Listen, it's this kind of truth that I'm holding up here right now. Some 94, it's this kind of truth that when I prayed in Congress on January 30th that when Congress members heard this, it made them very angry because they were angry with God. In other words, they were basically, they didn't say this, but this is what they were saying. How dare he pray that God hold us accountable because he is going to hold you accountable. We'll see. They didn't like it. They didn't like truth. I pray that God would bless them with wisdom. They didn't want to hear that. Why? Because they're wicked. They don't want truth. We declare righteousness. We speak righteousness which is do the right thing. God's in control. Find out what he wants. Not what the what not what the crowd wants. The mob, right? And by the way, if you're not following God's will, you're part of a mob. I don't care if you're a Christian or not. If you're not following the will of God, you're part of a mob. If you're if you're conservative or a liberal or progressive, you're part of your mob, best to be following God. We don't know all the answers, but he does. We just know this. We are to pray for those that are in leadership over us. We are to pray for our culture and for our family. We're to act righteously and we're to let God be the God of the Bible who will exercise judgment and justice. Could it be that even in the political dealings of our world around us that God is working something that he didn't tell you and I about? Of course he is. It's very, very cool. It's very thrilling to realize that. Trust him. Rest in him. Yes, evil's advancing. What are we supposed to do? Well, I can tell you what we're not supposed to do. We're not supposed to go back to bed and pull the sheets up over our head and hide. No, we're to get out front and we're to speak up. We are to call things out. Always in love. Always in the biblical truth. That's where our foundation is. If what you're calling out is biblical truth and you're standing lovingly and saying, hey, you shouldn't do that. Excuse me. Hello, everyone. Before we were all born, listen, all of us. I'm speaking to everybody right now. Before we were all born, there was a constitutional republic holding to Judeo-Christian worldview values in the United States long before we were ever born. And now we have a culture that is systematically tearing down the Bible, tearing down institutions, rewriting history because you don't know what to do with history. So you're so lame that because you don't know how to think about history, you tear down statues, not realizing that those very statues could actually be used for teaching illustrations and moments. But because you're so thin, skinned and ignorant about history, we tear down civil war statues instead of learning from them. So we never have a civil war again. I've told you guys this before, Black Lives Matter got Angela Mima pulled from the surrogate bottle. What a tragedy. If I was Angela Mima, I'd be all upset. Uncle Ben was removed from the box of rice. That's meat, that's wicked. I am convinced some white people did that. He just erased Black history from America. BLM did that. BLM did that to itself. We don't want a republic. We want to have a democracy. Are you sure? Boy, do you know what you're asking? Notice how Democrats can never say the word constitutional republic. You'll never hear a Democrat say constitutional republic. Why? Because they're against it. Most Republicans are against it too. Listen, Republican Democrat, independent, atheist, Christian, we will all stand before God. He's just, he is true. He will have unmitigated vengeance and fury against the wicked. Well, they dig a pit thinking that they're going to throw you in it. The Bible says they're going to fall into it. Wow. Remarkable stuff. The Bible. It's more alive than any of us. It's more alive than what's going on in our world around us. It's more alive. Listen, it's more it's more applicable than what's happening today. And here's the cool thing.
