Real Life presents the Jack Hibbs podcast with intention and boldness to proclaim truth, equip the saints, and impact our culture. Everybody back by popular demand that is you wanting us to answer questions, one minute rapid fire questions just for the record. I do not know what these questions are. I've not been rehearsed, which will probably show you how terrible I'm about to do. This is going to scary. But it's fun, and it's real. And it's real life. That's our whole thing, right? So here we go. We have, are we ready? Yes. Let's go. You can get the outlines of this podcast by going to jackhibbs.com slash podcast. Today, if this podcast lifts you up and encourages you to live a more fulfilled life in Christ, make sure you leave us one of those five star ratings. To us, that's like saying amen or yes, then that rating will encourage others to listen. Now open your hearts to what God's word has to say to you. Here is Jack Hibbs. Why will our bodies be raised when our soul is already with the Lord? Why do we need a new corpse? Okay, well guess what? You're not going to get a new corpse because a corpse is dead. You're going to get a new living body because we are Christians, meaning this. The Bible from Genesis to Revelation does not teach reincarnation. It doesn't teach anything else other than resurrection for the Bible to be true. You have to have your resurrected glorified body just like Jesus received at the resurrection. When Jesus rose from the dead 2000 years ago, he had a glorified body. You're going to the exact same kind of body. Also listen to the option from the bodies to be present with the Lord. That means if I died right now, my spirit would be with the Lord. My body would be buried at Forest Lawn. In the resurrection, my body is resurrected. John chapter 14 verses 1 to 3 and 1 Thessalonians 4 verses 13 to 18 says, in the resurrection or at the rapture, my body is going to meet my spirit in the atmosphere and that's a glorified state. So new body, new body. Explain the difference between the Ezekiel 38 war and the war that ushers in the millennium. Ezekiel 38 is a battle that is a surprise attack against Israel. It's spearheaded by Rosh, Misha Kentubal, that is a prince, that is an area and it's headed up by a title, a political military leader. He goes by GOG in the Bible in Ezekiel 38. Ezekiel 38 tells us that once God destroys that invading group of nations, there's like five of them. It's not Armageddon. God will then cause Israel to see him as Lord and Savior. The gospel will be open to them. The battle of Armageddon is something completely different. That is a battle that is near the end of the tribulation period. Ezekiel 38 has nothing to do with the tribulation period and the Armageddon battle has to do with the nations of the world, not a limited group of Ezekiel 38. After the rapture, will there be any hope for the Gentiles? I was taught we would get a second chance only by being a martyr for not taking the mark of the beast. As I read and study the Bible, it seems hope is reserved for the Jewish nation only. Yes, that's a good observation, by the way. The seven year tribulation period, if you read the book of Daniel, is specifically God dealing with the nation of Israel and the Jewish people, which makes these replacement theology buffoons look really silly. That said, those who know the gospel right now, they know it, but they don't believe it. You and I have friends like that. They can tell us the gospel, but they don't believe it. Second Thessalonians chapter 2 tells us that when the rapture takes place, they will not be able to believe because God will send them strong delusion. But there will be Gentiles of great number, John tells us in the book of Revelation that are too numerous to count who gets saved during the tribulation period by the Jewish evangelists, the 144,000 Jews that preach the gospel to the world. The point is this, if you've got a chance to receive the gospel now and you don't, think of it this way. The door is going to close like it did on Noah's Ark. They're done. There's no chance. Those who, after the rapture who have not understood the gospel, they will have an opportunity in great numbers. If you know it, you better believe it now and repent, or you're in trouble. I went over, but it's worth it. What exactly? And Bible prophecy needs to happen next before Christ returns. Or are we just waiting and looking up for our master to come? Next time, make your question more specific. When we talk about the return of Christ, what do you mean? Do you mean the rapture? Or do you mean the second coming? The rapture precedes the second coming. So number one, nothing needs to happen for the rapture to take place. It could happen any second now. It's called the doctrine of eminency, which is the Paul said, the we statements. The we statements of Paul backed out up as many other scriptures do. The second coming of Christ can only happen after the seven-year tribulation period. And so, and that has a great announcement. That has great precursors that have to happen before the second coming takes place. The rapture has no warnings. The rapture has no prerequisites. The rapture can happen suddenly, instantly, without any warning. That's why we are to walk in the light. We're to be looking for him now. Even though if he comes back in the next 100 minutes or 100 years, the church has always been admonished to watch for the imminent return of Jesus in the atmosphere. Again, John 14, verses 1, 2, and 3, first Thessalonians 4, read that, you'll be fine. So people feel we are in the tribulation right now. Where can I show them we aren't? Okay. Well, first of all, we would know that if that were true, because we live in California. So we're not. We are not in the tribulation period. That comes from a very pathetic understanding or lack of understanding concerning the Bible. First of all, the tribulation period is preempted by a man called the Antichrist. Who's the Antichrist? Where's the mark of the beast? Where's 666? Where's the false prophet? Show me where he's at. Where's the image of the beast that is able to judge and destroy people who don't have the mark of the beast? Where is all the things that the tribulation period depicts? Where is it all that the Bible tells you about it? Of course not. We are not in the tribulation period that comes from a very perverted view of the Bible and very, very bad Bible teaching known as eschatology. You are from a church that has no clue of what the end time prophetic scripture speak about both old or New Testament. What's written on the plaque that you stand on when preaching? I know it's a random question, but me and my wife have wondered for years. Yeah. I'll paraphrase it really fast because it's a lot. It says that beneath your feet are 24 Bibles. There's 24 Gideon Bibles buried in the foundation of the pulpit down, 10 to 12 feet in the concrete. There's a prayer shawl from Jerusalem because my house shall be called the house of prayer. We also put stones there from Israel because Jesus said, if we don't worship, the very stones will cry out. That plaque says that and then it warns the teacher that is standing there, that you've better have prayed yourself ready to present the Word of God to God's people because they are his. You're to feed them the Word of God and you are to then, if you're ready, let yourself go under the influence of the Holy Spirit because you're simply there to teach his people. So basically don't get in the way of that. Whoever stands behind that pulpit on that plaque is reminded that they are a conduit of God's truth. When the Bible speaks about the strong delusion, can you please speak about when this will occur and why? Yeah. It's great. That's amazing. I didn't know that. Second Thessalonians chapter 2, the strong delusion will come moments, we say moments, it will come in at some point time right after the rapture. It could be immediate. It sounds like it's immediate. Once the rapture takes place, those that were fiddling around with the gospel and playing with it and never coming to the knowledge of Christ as Lord and Savior, it sounds as though right then and there there's going to be an attitude. Think about that for a moment. There's going to be a thought process in them that they will deny Christ completely ultimately. God will send them strong delusion because they had a chance to get in the ark, so to speak, and they refused to get in. So the door was shut. Christ took the church up and you're on your own with what I believe is no second chance after the rapture. If you can tell me the gospel right now and you don't believe it, there's no second chance for you after the rapture. Wow, where's the horn? For years we've been taught there are no remaining prophecies that must be fulfilled before the rapture. But your explanation for Jeremiah 49 indicates a prophecy that has not been fulfilled. Does it need to be fulfilled before the rapture? There is literally no correlation between Jeremiah 49 and the rapture. There's no correlation. There's no correlation between most prophecies in the rapture. That's what I'm saying is that you might be confusing the rapture with the second coming. There is no prophecy that has to take place before the rapture. There's no precursor, no warning. The second coming is a different story completely. So just remember that the rapture could happen today with or without a war in the Middle East, with or without anything, the rapture could happen now. So don't ever put something in front of the rapture. But you must put something like 350 prophecies ahead of the second coming, which takes place at the end of the seven-year tribulation period. When I hear the word chosen in the Bible, I can't get past the fact that some were not chosen. Am I just being paranoid that God knows those who weren't called for His purposes? Your paranoid for this reason. The scripture makes it very clear in the book of Ephesians that God knew us before the foundations of the world. The book of Romans tells us chapter 8, for example, that the Lord has not only saved us, but he knew before the foundations of the world were ever laying that he would not only choose us. He would do that based upon his foreknowledge. So listen, God knows that the entire world at all time, those who would accept the gospel and those who would not. The chosen are not those chosen to accept. The chosen are those who God knew in eternity that when the gospel is presented to the whole world, these here would say yes, because that's true worship. Their own choosing, they would come to Christ, those, those become the chosen. He doesn't make people believe and he doesn't blind people from believing. He gives everyone the opportunity to believe. And then listen, in his eternal mind, in his eternal existence, those who do not accept, he's always known that. So Romans tells us that those who were vessels ordained to read the book of Romans. I do not understand the fallen angels. Are all of them currently chained up or some still free? Great question. Some are most are free to be bad. And it appears that the Bible says there's a handful of them that are so bad that they are reserved right now in chains, which by the way, the book of Revelation again tells us those bad ones will not be released until the tribulation period comes. And then they're released. So good question. Between apostates and backsliding or apostacies and backsliding. Yeah. An apostate is someone who claimed to believe and it turned out that they never really did believe. Jesus talks about them in Matthew 13 about the sewer and the seeds. A backsliding person can only be, a backsliding person has to be a Christian to backslide. Only saved people can backslide, backsliders are saved. But if Christ came back today, for example, they would be embarrassed, ashamed at his coming. The Bible says, an apostate doesn't belong to the family of God, but a backsliding. For example, when Peter was denying Jesus, he was a backslidden. When you, when you were not as hot for Jesus as you were, you're backslidden. It doesn't mean you lose your salvation. It means that you are in the family of God, but you're not walking right with God. You need to repent and get back. That's the whole thing behind Jesus's admonition to the church and Ephesus in the book of Revelation. Go back to your first works. What does that mean? It means you're backslidden. Get back to where you're supposed to be. That only applies to the believer, not the non-believer. The Lord tells us to bless Israel. How does this fit in with the Jews of today? So much as being said about them, not being the original Jews. It's amazing how many experts there are today. They're all of a sudden on Israel. Quite remarkable. And these experts don't read their Bibles. God has chosen the Jewish people. He didn't choose them based upon their morality or anything else. God knows exactly who the Jews are. He knows them. He has declared them to be His chosen people, His special people. And he, listen to this, note this friend. Behind the scenes is a demonic doctrine. If you can get the Jew to not exist, then you can get Israel as a nation to not exist. Then Christ cannot come back in the Bible as false and Satan wins and God loses. Because when Jesus returns, the Bible says he returns to Israel to establish the throne of David and that he's the king of the Jews. Do you remember what Herod wrote over Jesus's head? King of the Jews? That's true. But listen, there's a lot of demonized people that are saying, no, it's not true anymore. Just mark this down. There's a lot of experts all of a sudden on Israel. They're clowns. They're clowns. They're going up against theology that is eternally rooted from Genesis to Revelation. Be careful about those people. Are the Jews living in Israel now descendants of the biblical Jews and how do we know? Yes. Yeah, they are because they're back in the land. Answer your question by asking this one. Who is God speaking to in Ezekiel 36, 37 and 38? There's your answer. Who is God speaking to in Ezekiel 36, 37 and 38? And in the last days, he's going to draw back his people from the four corners of the earth. He's going to bring the Jews back home to where they've never been before. Isaiah 66 verse eight says that Israel will become a nation the second time in one day, May 14, 1948. So you need to get the answers from the Bible, not from internet searches or from podcasters. Very, very important. Yes, he knows who they are. Does the rapture happen before or after the Ezekiel war? We don't know. What we do know, this is awesome. Great scholars all agree on this. We don't know if it's just before Ezekiel 38 or just after, but all the scholars believe on this. The rapture will take place in the vicinity of Ezekiel 38. I think that's awesome. Because the Ezekiel 38 is a super quick war. God intervenes and opens up the eyes of the Jews to believe. Will the rapture happen just before it? Or just after it? Who cares? It's so close together. It's like if you start seeing the formation of Ezekiel 38, which could happen after this big battle that's going on. There could be some peace in Israel for a year or two or six months or three years. And it's during the time of peace that this sudden attack takes place. Again, reading Ezekiel 36, 37 and 38. I love to know what you experienced or learned through leading the 5 AM daily prayer for a year. How did God bless you? Wow, God blessed me. First of all, I'm just going to tell you straight up. God blessed me. I was never sick. I didn't get sick the entire year. Even when there were sick people around me. I was never sick. Didn't miss one. God's faithfulness was amazing. But secondly is this. I had over, I would say about two, three, maybe three months into it. I began to feel an unusual affection toward people who were in that prayer group that I've never known. I will never know until heaven. But on our last week of that year, I began to miss them and I can't explain that. It's a supernatural thing. I believe it's Coenania. There was a shock to me that when we would end on December 31st that I would miss these people who we'd spent a year together with, but I didn't know them. That's unexplainable. Leviticus 12. Why is the unclean period after birth twice as long for girls than boys? Listen, God is establishing the, the God is establishing the rule of purity and the dynamic of, to the Jew, the dynamic of cleanliness and purity, but also speaking of deeper things, that the blood, remember, a woman was not to be touched during her cycle. But when it comes to the fact that there's an extension regarding birth, God is just simply speaking to us about the redemption that would come through Jesus Christ, the preciousness of blood and the, and the, the defilement of blood that is not sanctioned for worship or for offering that would, that it's considered to be unclean. And all of these things, remember, when we read Leviticus as we do read all scripture, always, here's a good rule. Always look for Jesus in those things. How does that apply to the righteousness, to the person of Christ? What mark did God put on Cain? If you ask a Mormon, Mormon doctrine tells you that the God of more, of Mormonism turned Cain into a Negro. That's what Mormonism teaches. That's horrific, isn't that terrible? We don't know exactly what the mark was, but it seems to be something that may have been very, very much on his face or his head, his forehead, because he's marked in such a way that people could recognize Cain wherever he went. Isn't that wild? If you saw Cain, you better not kill him. God's, God's reserved judgment for him, okay? He was marked somehow. It's tragic though. Mormonism, no longer teaches us by the way, they changed their doctrine because the IRS told them that they were gonna lose their tax exempt status. So they changed the ruling on Cain being a Negro, but I guarantee you, he was not a Negro according to Mormonism. Cain was marked, maybe it was a lightning bolt, maybe it was an L on his forehead, but somehow God marked him. Can a person smoke cigarettes and still go to heaven? They love the Lord and want to stop smoking. Number one, go to Galatians five, verse one. Pray that into your life. You'll go to heaven sooner than the rest of us. So that's great for you, right? Cause you'll die of cancer. But listen, whenever you're in bondage to something, it's not good. Okay, so forget about smoking. What if it's candy? You just can't give up candy. If you can't give something up, it's a sin. You need a repent of that. Ask God to give you the strength based upon Galatians five one. Stand firm in that liberty. Ask God to heal you because you're not only getting yourself sick, you're getting others sick around you. And it's, look, it's not good. You're supposed to take care of your body, which belongs to God. So figure out something quick, but pray. Galatians five one into your life. Why did the Lord write letters to the churches in Asia? Asia Minor, specifically region of Turkey. But this, it doesn't really matter, but there's a circuit there. It's kind of like an oval. So when Jesus wrote to the seven letters of the seven churches, they happen to form an oval, which is kind of irrelevant. But each of those churches, not only described an actual church at the time, those were actual churches. And you can go by the way to Asia Minor today, a turkey, and you can visit all those sites that said, it just so happens because God knows what He's doing. Throughout the last 2000 years, those churches have actually been in chronological order as they've conducted themselves generally in the world, yet the most important thing of all is this. At any given time, you want to make sure that your heart is really like one, if you can, one like Philadelphia in church. Because it also describes the believer. Now some believers today, as I sit here in comfort, there's believers like those that are in Smyrna, they're dying for their faith. There's Christians in North Africa that are dying for their faith today. The Church of Philadelphia is going to be delivered from the wrath to come. Just make sure that when you read the seven letters, you apply it to your own life personally, but they were real churches. What alphabet did God use on the tablet given to Moses? Was Moses given knowledge of the alphabet at this time? I believe it was Hebrew. I believe Hebrew is the language of God. I can't prove that, but it seems to me prior to Babel, I think the world spoke Hebrew. I think after Babel, right, there were all those crazy languages that caused great confusion. It's just my guess, I think in heaven, it might even be during the millennium. I think during the millennium, it would make sense to me that during the millennium that we all spoke Hebrew, that everybody spoke Hebrew. But I think Hebrew is God's language. Did God offer Israel grace instead of the law, but they chose the law instead? God offered the law to show Israel that they were sinners. Grace was exemplified in the offering of the blood. Remember, God said to Moses, tell the people that the day that they break any one of these rules, laws, excuse me, they got it offered at blood of an innocent animal, of a lamb, or blood of an animal. That's God's grace. So the law was given to convict us of our sins. That's God's judgment, but judgment is appeased by God's grace when an offering is made. That's why the law came through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. How is it that grace and truth came through Jesus Christ? How his sacrifice, it's called atonement, or fancy word, very important, propitiation. The propitiation of Christ caused him to be our atonement, which was the provider of all grace to fulfill the law and to have all of us forgive and based upon his sacrifice. How do we balance unity with differing views on end times prophecy? Grow up. Just grow up. People will have different views. Stop being weird about it, meaning this. Scholars throughout all of history have had different views on Bible prophecy, but there's no division in that. Now, I should say this. If somebody says, well, my prophecy view is this. There's no Israel. Jesus isn't coming back and there's no millennium. Okay, that is not a Bible prophecy issue. That is a survey. You are so messed up. You don't even understand the Bible. But if somebody believes something like, oh, I think there's a post-tribulation rapture, which I totally do not believe in, but a Christian who's a post-tribulationist, they're just confused. They're going to go up in the rapture. They just might be the most surprised ones going up, but there are my brothers and my sisters. If somebody believes that Ezekiel is after the rapture or Ezekiel is before the rapture, that's absolutely spectacularly fine. That has nothing to do with biblical doctrine that is the tenants of Christianity or Judaism. I hope you make that distinction clear. We need to grow up. If somebody disagrees with us, so what? It doesn't mean that there's some kind of a weirdo. It means I have to see a different view. It's good, it's okay. Well, the city of Damascus fall before the rapture or after. We don't know. He's referring to Isaiah 17, verse one. We don't know, but I tell you what? If you see, if you and I see on the news that Damascus gets nuked, God says when it gets hit, no one's ever gonna live there again. Wow, that would just, if we see that, then we better get ready. We just should be super ready. But there's no rule. I personally, my opinion, I believe that Ezekiel, I believe that Isaiah 17, one happens before Ezekiel 38. I could be wrong. I don't really care, but I think that's how I see it. Last question. How did all those animals fit in the ark? You should go to the ark encounter in Kentucky. I answer this in Genesis. They'll make it make perfect sense because number one is this. The size of the ark in Genesis that is given turns out to be the same size as 522 rail world cars stacked together. A lot of those animals were not mature in their size. Not all of them are giant in size. I personally believe that Noah took on the ark, even some male and female dinosaurs, little ones, young before they sexually matured. They would have sexually matured after they got out of the ark. But when you build this thing, I'm thinking Noah knows a giraffe's pretty tall. Either he took a male female adult giraffes or he took male female young giraffes, but one thing is certain, when you look at 522 rail world cars and the possibility that everything fit on there by twos, it doesn't necessarily mean that they all had to be in their mature, full grown states. Think about that for a moment, but I highly recommend, oh my goodness, go to the Creation Museum. That's just outside Cincinnati and the ark encounter. You'll be blown away. It's well worth your time and money. I've been there, actually, I just got back from there. It's my third time there. You'll be blown away. Is that it? That's it. Listen, God bless you guys.
